CONGRATULATIONS WINONA LAIRD
Please congratulate our very own Winona Laird for receiving the "Outstanding Volunteer Award" from Washington State Genealogical Society. Winona served as SKCGS President and Vice President and on numerous committees, including chair of the last two seminar committees, head of the Education Committee and the Five-year Planning Committee. She leads the virtual Family Tree Maker special interest group and the in-person research workshop at the Kent FamilySearch Center. Currently, she is teaching the Beginning Genealogy Classes for SKCGS and the Introduction to Genealogy classes hosted by King County Library System. Congratulations, Winona, on your well-deserved recognition!
